You seriously just have to talk to her. It's not a big deal.

However, if you're REALLY afraid for some reason, and your mom is the one that does the laundry in the house, you can add a pair of bloody underwear to your usual laundry pile. Gross, yeah, but at least she'll find out on her own?

But honesty, you should just tell her. Dont' turn it into a big deal because it's NOT. You're not confessing to mass murder. You're not giving away news that will make you look like a freak of nature; all women get their period.

And keep in mind that your mom was in your shoes many many years ago. She knows how it feels to have to tell a parent about something like this.

Okay hun breathe

A period is perfectly normal and every woman gets it, It is nothing you should be ashamed of or embarrassed about. If you need to tell your mother about your period you can say "Mom, I really need to talk to you do you have a moment" and you tell her that you have gotten your period. Your mother gets a period too, Again it's normal nothing to be ashamed of and I'm pretty sure your mother is expecting you to have this talk with her sooner or later.

Don't be ashamed, It's normal :)
