this sounds like your going to have to make the first move. give it more time if you like but if by this friday he doesnt ask you, go for it. just calmly walk up to him and say "hey i hear this movie is really good wanna go see it with me this weekend?" or throw a party and invite him and give him lots of attention.

If I were you, I would confidently go up to him and just ask him out! Say "Hey there. Listen, I was wondering...would you like to go (insert place here) with me on Friday as a date? I like you and think it would be fun to hang out." Once you make the first move, he'll open up more to you and hopefully ask you to be his girlfriend. And, just a tip: Don't get nervous! Well, you can...but try your best to hide it. Guys find confidence a major turn on in a girl. If you think you might need some practice, try saying it in front of a mirror or to a friend.
