Some answers you've gotten to this question are incorrect.

You cannot send your own demo to a music company. Frist you need an agent/manager. They send it to the record label.

If you don't live in either LA or NY or Nashville, you need to get there in order to find the best agent possible.

Good luck, and please, leave one in my inbox if you have more specific questions.

Hey Hey!
I once sent a demo cd to a music company. I didnt play an instrument thought, i sang. I recorded on sound recorder on the computer as thats all i had. I sang 12 different songs and then put them on a cd. I also attatched a biography, picture and number of mine with the cd in a package. To fidn the company i searched on google for weeks and weeks until i found the right one. They told me to contact them in 2 months, and i did. once a week i now go to a recording studio and sing. good luck! and remember you need to want this more then anything! CC xXx
