For my english class i have to watch a movie, and then "critize" the movie the best i can in like an essay. And then talk about why i like it, and why i dont. Well i'm not the smartest kid in the world, and i spend most of my english time sleeping or listening to my ipod. So if you could.. tell me what critizing is. And how i would do that for a movie i like. [she made us pick the movie first.. & write it down. And i picked one i like]
THANKS IN ADVANCE. puh-lease help!

How to Learn to Write a Movie Critique
Method One: Pay attention in class
Method Two: Admit to your teacher you were not paying attention in class and ask them to explain the expectations to you.

But I guess an idea of the...kind of weird assignment would start with defs-
** So this is the definition thing for criticize -
1. To find fault with: criticized the decision as unrealistic.
2. To judge the merits and faults of; analyze and evaluate.
** And then there's also this def for critique -
1. A critical review or commentary, especially one dealing with works of art or literature.
2. A critical discussion of a specified topic.
3. The art of criticism.
So...criticizing a movie would be like picking stuff out that didn't make a lot of sense, that were just stupid, or you didn't like, or just analyzing the movie like movie critics do. Kind of like making fun of the movie, or, I guess, you could say in what ways it was good. You really should to a friend or something that has more specific directions so you don't screw up. Good luck because it sounds really annoying.
...And I know this doesn't have anything to do with your actual question, but in the future, don't listen to your ipod and deffinately don't fall asleep in class, omg. Cuz then you'll just be more behind, and confused, and then have to ask about it on advicenators. Which isn't a bad thing, but, you know. Ok I'm done.
