i have a chiwawa (i think u spell it like that) and shes 2 years only her vet told us she is readdy to have puppys what i dont kno is how many are those kinds of dogs are able to have like what is the most thanx

I have a pikegneise or w.e its called / a shitzu dog. She's really small but not as small as a Chihuahua she had only one puppy for her size. So apparently the world record for the amount of puppies a Chihuahua gave birth to were 5. So i'm guessing around 1-5 puppies. <3

My chihuahua was pregnant last year and she gave birth to four puppies.
There isn't really a set number of puppies that a chihuahua can have. Litters can vary in sizes so it might be a good idea to have your vet perform an ultrasound of your dog a couple weeks before she is due.
The largest chihuahua litter I have ever heard of is 7 puppies, though I'm sure there are larger ones.
