Question Posted Tuesday April 11 2006, 4:24 pm

I know that there are some people who are just naturally really skinny, but there are some people who are mega needle thin. Is that possible for people to be naturally that thin??? Brigitte Bardot had a 20 inch waist-----Scarlett O'Hara from "Gone With The Wind" had a 17-inch waist. 17 inches! Jesus! I just can't see how people can be just born that way.

It depends on a lot of other things, such as height, and how thin their parents are because some people can naturally be really thin like that (high metabolism, etc). It can also effect people in the opposite way, like people can be really large just because of genetics. Either way there are a lot of people who starve themselves/or eat way too much that causes them to be super thin or obese. Sooo, it IS possible, but it depends on the person!

alot of them, it most likely is not natural, but you can achieve this with those waist tightner thingys(i dont kow what they are called) as long as you wear them in increments you can acheive the waist size. to a degree of course, you cant fit a 40' waist into a 20'.

hahah that's a funny question. but yeah, i have a 20 inch waist, and i was born that way, so i guess it is safe to say that yes, people are born that way. I eat when i'm hungry and stop when i'm full, and i eat everything... i don't put a limit on those things. so basically, i don't have an eating disorder, and i've never had one... and i do exercise moderately, but not too much. i guess some people are just born pretty small... haha well i hope that answers your question. :)

Yes its possible. I dont even have to look at the women. One of my best friends is a small Indian guy. Anyway, this guy is stick thin. I mean really really skin and bones. To make matters worse he eats like a pig. I am not even exagerrating here, the guy can binge eat like there is no tomorrow. He eats a lot, and its almost always unhealthy fatty crap... and he absolutely never ever gains an ounce.

I really hate him sometimes.
