cocoa butter

i just bought something like cocoa butter called shea butter.. would that work if i put it on my acne scars..? would it lighten up or no..? because i heard that it does but im not sure

i wouldnt use it unless a doctor or an adult recomened it might make ur scars worse and make you break out because it is oilly.

unless it's made specifically for your face I wouldn't put it on it. Chances are it's made to moisturize your skin, and it will just clog your pores, and make your face produce more oil.

Check out products made for this specific purpose, they're out there. Or get some vitamin e oil, and mix it in with your facial moisturizer. Not alot, just a dab, that should do the trick.

Butter is like oil. Most products that clean out acne say "This product will not make your skin oily, but it will also not dry it out." I think that shea butter would make it worse, but that is from my experience. Oily skin is not good, and neither is dry so try something like Proactive, it works for me. IT'S GREAT!

Well, cocoa butter deffinitly does help, if it is the exact same thing as cocoa butter then it should help out your scars a lot. Hope I helped!
