Hey guys, like you know how what you've searched gets saved on google so if i write in "C A" then "CAT" will appear if Ive searched it before ? Yeah how do you get rid of that so it doesnt save what Ive searched? Is there some way i can make it so that nothing gets saved on other pages too, not only google?

In the search box, type in "CA" and when cat appears use your DOWN arrow to go down to the word "cat" and when the word is highlighten hit DELETE on your keyboard.

I'm not sure of what your talking about. I know that Google saves it's searches in the database if you have an Gmail account and your computer saves what you've searched for too. I'll give instructions to both:

How To Delete Your Internet Files:

"Tools" then you go to, "Internet Options.." and then, "Temporary Internet Files" then click, "Delete Cookies".
-----------------------------------------------
How To Delete Google Searches:

Go to YOUR Google homepage (Where you can see news, emails, etc) and look at the 'main' top of the page and click, "Search History", then it will ask you to type in your password. After you do that look on the 'LEFT' side of the page where you see:

Search History
Web
Images
News
Froogle
*Pause*
Remove items

Click, "PAUSE" and then your finished! Sorry about the length because I wasn't sure what you were talking about.

It depends on what browser you have. I only know how to erase it on Mozilla Firefox, though, because that's the only browser I have. If you have this, then go to Tools, Options, Saved Form Information, and hit clear. It should all be erased. You can also delete your History by doing this. If you don't have Firefox I suggest you download it at www.firefox.com because it's a very good browser.

no dont clear your history like the person below me said. That has nothing to do with what you've enterend in search bars, at least not for mozilla firefox. If you have firefox go to tools, options, privacy and click on "saved form information". click clear. Or you can even set it so it doesnt save them. I dont think you can do it with internet explorer becuase i checked and couldnt find it. hope i helped! ♥dAnieLLe

If you have Internet Explorer, go to the 'Tools' menu, select 'Internet Options', and then the 'Content' tab. Within the personal information area, select 'AutoComplete'; to clear the current history, click on 'Clear Forms' and to disable this feature entirely, uncheck the 'Forms' box.

You can also delete individual entries from your search history by using the down arrow key to highlight a previous search and then pressing the delete key.
