What my mom said

Question Posted Wednesday April 5 2006, 8:00 pm

My mommy told me that she used cocoa butter (palmers) wen having me and my bro and that it didn't leave any visible stretch marks and yeah she doesn't have any 4 real.
So I'm FAAT...harsh but tru. So I have these stretch marks on my breast and my stomach. I'm losing the weight...SLOWLY. So I bought the cocoa butter and I used it jus now so I was wondering..do they fade the marks or make them disappear? And how long will it take?

I am 7 months pregnant. Before I got pregnant I was underweight for my age. I have gained 30 pounds since I got pregnant and I began to get stretch marks all over my butt and my thighs. It really bothered me, and I felt like my legs were too ugly to show off to anyone because of the stretch marks. So I asked my mom what she did and she told me to use Vitamin E lotion. I started using it not too long ago and the stretch marks have started fading. They are not gone, but my boyfriend is bigger and used to have stretch marks. As he gains and loses weight they come and go, and right now he doesn't have any. I hope this helps

Stretch marks will always fade never disspaear becaus ewhat they are is scars. Once ya get them they wont go away even if they look like there gone there not. But yes cocoa butter works very well but it does fade them and you can hardly tell they are there. And you have to use it ussually every day for a long time for them to fade. Hope iv helped good luck.

stretch marks will sometimes fade or disappear over time. Not always though.

Here is a web site that will help you out with them. :)
