liking someone who is not available

Question Posted Tuesday April 4 2006, 1:55 pm

there's this guy that i really like and he likes me to. But, he has a girlfriend and he pretends that he doesn't have one when he's with me. I don't want to put the moves on him because he has a girlfriend. But he told me that he likes me and that he is going to dump her. But so far he hasn't, so should i still persue this guy, becasue i really like him, but will it be wrong?
I am 16 and a girl.

All's fair in love and war. So pursue all you want, but do not give him anything of yourself (time, kisses, whatever) until he's officially single and dating you.

Most likely he's not going to dump his girlfriend for you.

A lot of guys tell girls that, unfortunately.

I don't think you should fall for his words.

What I think you should do is to talk to him and ask him if he has feelings for her and if he has feelings for you, and on you sholud act according to what he will say, if he will say that he has no feeling for her-go for it and if he has any feelings for her try not to push him to any thing because you might scare him away and back to his girlfriend

hope I helped, if you need anything just drop it in my inbox

I have an unpopular opinion when it comes to this sort of situation, which is that the ends justifies the means. Yes, it would be wrong to steal him away form his girlfriend, for him to cheat on her, but some time from now, if you and he are ina great monogamous relationship, what's wrong with that?
