okay hi! i am not new to this site but i have not been on in a long time. i was just wondering how to put in a tampon? i have been struggling with the decision to use one or not and my mom told me that i should. i am just to scared to ask her how to put it in and everything. can you give me a website or something that can explain this process to me..thank u very much. i look forward to your answers.

Maybe give some free advice about: Menstrual/Period Issues? orphans answered Monday April 3 2006, 4:30 pm: its easier then you think! well first of all you don't want to be nervous when you put it in because your muscles tighten up and its practically impossible to put it in. its really easy if you know where your vagina is. you just prop your foot up on the toilet or something then just push it in slowly until your fingers are touching your body then just push the inner tube in..&& the directions will be in the box too. the easiest tampon to start off with is plastic so i suggest tampax pearl lites or playtex slimfits or tampax compack or something like that. good luck!

sOAKIN_iN_tHE_sUNx0 answered Monday April 3 2006, 5:25 am: if you buy a box of tampons they give step by step instructions. it isnt hard. just stick the applicator in and push the thing stick til it up to the fat part of the bottom of the tampon applicator and pull the plastic out and there you go.
