budgie sex?

ok well i just brought two budgies, and i think i know the sex of one, because the area outside of the beak is a rich blue. ive read websites and books and it tells me rich blue is male. the other budgie has a bluey brownish colour. is that male or female???

Yes it is female, I have budgies myself and brownish colour is for females.
