The best way to solve your problem is #1- make sure you're eating healthy. Diet is always a major component of weight loss. #2- Just as important as diet- Exercise. The best way to slim down and tone up is to run ofcourse, and weight train. Try doing more repititions and sets, with less weight. For example: bench press the bar 20 times, and repeat 5 times. The only way you would bulk up and get manly would be if you were lifting a large amount of weight with a low rep/sets. I hope this helped. [ shortyxx's advice column | Ask shortyxx A Question ]

This shouldn't make your muscles a lot bigger, just stronger. Even lifting, in moderation will help you develop lean muscle without bulking up. In short, if you exercise and cut back on calories you should get smaller, not bigger regardless of what kind of exercise you do. [ OllieJ's advice column | Ask OllieJ A Question ]
