i PLAY WiTH QUITERSS
my friends and i are on a basketball team but it seems like they dont care if we win or lose. how do i tell them to step up their game with out sounding like a bitchy dictator?

When you lose a game or have a sucky practice, just flat out say it, "We really need to step up our game" Don't try to sound like a mean coach, just sound like an upset friend. They should understand and try harder. Get them together at your house and talk about what you all can do to be better. You can practice with them out of school or rec or whatever you do.

well if i were you, id tell them they need to work a little harder. but maybe its because they really dont care, its a GAME there not just there to win EVERYTIME their there to have fun. they dont sweat there ass off for no reason, you know. i guess if i were i would tell them straight up, how you feel and be like "im sorry if i sound like a bitch but im trying not too"... and then say what you need to say... best thing for this situation is communication, your a team and there is no "U" or "I" in team.

well what my dad did for my sisters softball team is promised them a pool party if they won the rest of their games. maybe you can talk your parents into having a movie night with them or something and tell them if you win they can come over and your parents will throw a party

when you talk to them, try to tell them how much it means to you wen you guys win. n try to ask them how they fell like when they win or lose.!
