If you learn to do compound movements you will find that you really don't need to do retarded exercise like leg raises and sit ups because of the extreme workload put on your core (midsection) to keep your body stable during these movements. [ MikeCFT's advice column | Ask MikeCFT A Question ]
OllieJ answered Thursday March 30 2006, 10:58 pm: jumping rope is great for pretty much everything. other plyos, like those rope ladders where you have to touch one foot between each rung or both feet and you go through them really fast are good for foot work (i can explain that better if you don't know what i'm talking about). As for abs, just do circuit abs (planks, side planks, bicycles, crunches, abs supermans, and the ones that work your lats for 30seconds each. work your way up to 45 seconds or a minute) every other day. I'm thinking that if you google 'ab exercises' and search past all the ads you'll find some good exercises to mix things up. For muscle in general, try running, and if you can, lift weights. Lifting makes a huge difference. [ OllieJ's advice column | Ask OllieJ A Question ]
