Kids don't have a sense of sexuality until they reach their teens so how can it be predetermined? As we grow and participate socially with other people we learn and experience things that make us sway one way or the other. It's not an imbalance because there is nothing that attracts a man to a woman other than what we pick up socially as we get older. Little boys don't have a "play with fire trucks gene" and little girls don't have a "play with dolls gene". They are given the "proper" toys and play with those particular ones and not others because of thier parents' reactions. If a boy plays with dolls the parent will probably frown at them and tell them no. Same kind of thing. I hope I made sense. :) [ sizzlinmandolin's advice column | Ask sizzlinmandolin A Question ]

But being gay doesn't hurt anyone, so if it is an imbalance, there's really no point in "curing" it. [ tasuki's advice column | Ask tasuki A Question ]

No need to tell everyone that your name has nothing to do with your gender. Your name does not show up when you ask questions. If you would like to change your name, email dangernerd and ask. ;) [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]
