i played softball 2 years ago and i tore tendons in my knee. the doctor told me to stay off it and quit softball but i really wanted to finish the season. so i did and my knee ever healed right.
so a few days ago i started track and today we did ladders and my knee gave out like 4 times and now i cant walk on it. i wear a knee brace thing (the elastic kind) and i was just wonderin if anyone knew excercises or ways to get my knees more durable and resistance when i run.

The trick is to strenghten the muscles around your knee, like thighs and calves. A great way to do this is by using a bike(a stationary one, or just one yu ride around yur neighborhood) also, eliptycles are good cus yu can work out without putting stress on your knee. Try doing some wall sits, only about 10 and yu dont have to go all the way down, just as far as yu think you can. Icing it always helps too. I hope i helped and if yu have any more questions, lemme know cus i can totally help. [ xoredsoxnation9's advice column | Ask xoredsoxnation9 A Question ]
