ok well im trying to shape up my claves and what i do is well like you know if you have a shower where u stand and stuff well like the little part before you get in is about like 3,4 inches high well i stand on that with the balls of my feet and like go up and yeah if i do 100 of those aday is that good or should i do something else to shape up my calves before summer if so what? and what else can i do to lose weight on my thighs stomach and upper arms. please help ill rate.

OllieJ answered Wednesday March 29 2006, 7:11 pm: Calf raises are GREAT for shaping calves, try doing them in sets of 25; 25 normally, 25 with your toes pointing inwards, 25 with your toes pointing out (75 in a row, no breaks between sets). That makes sure you work all your calf muscles. In order to SEE results (depending on your build some of your muscle might be kind of hidden..mine definitely is- but i'm changing that) weight loss is definitely important so try to fit in regular cardio exercise. If you're eating healthfully a combination of cardio and, if possible, weight training, will tone your body very effectively. Just be patient.
xomegaroni answered Wednesday March 29 2006, 6:37 pm: you can do that juss standing on the floor & it'll give you the same results. like juss lift yourself on your tippy toes & go back down. it hurts after awhile but it'll help you shape them.
