make another user

how do make another user on your computer and put a password on it? i want to make my own and my parents one how can i do that?

i am using windows xp.

To make a new account : start-> control panel-> User Accounts-> Create a new account.. then follow the steps.

And to make a password on an existing account : start-> control panel-> user accounts-> change an account [under "pick a task"]-> click the account-> create password

1. Go to start
2. Click on Control Panel
3. Click on User Accounts
4. Click Create a New Account
5. Create a Name for the new account
6. Pick Computer Administrator or Limited

To create a new account:

1.Press Start
2.Then go to Control Panel
3.Then press User Accounts
4.Press Create a new account

To put a password on it:

1.Press Start
2.2.Then go to Control Panel
3.Then press User Accounts
4.Press Change an account
5.Pick the account you want to change
6.Then press Create a password.
