I dry my hair a tiny bit so that it is still quite wet but not dripping so much. I comb it through and then use a load of mousse on it. Comb it through again and dry it on a medium heat, with the nozzle pointed downwards all the time and with the hairdryer on a low speed. Keep smoothing the hair down with your hand while it's drying and it should give you hair that's flat and straight on top but curly at the bottom.

xoMarisox answered Sunday March 19 2006, 6:19 pm: When I scrunch mine I get it really wet. Then use this mega hold gel. It works great. Then I use this curling spray and shine stuff. (It's from that stuff by Hillary Duff...don't be fooled it works!) Then I finish it with hairspray and I sometimes blow dry it. [ xoMarisox's advice column | Ask xoMarisox A Question ]
SweetxxIntoxication answered Sunday March 19 2006, 5:35 pm: sometimes if you straighten it, and then use mousse/hair pray (any kind really) to scrunch it, that works.
(i have the same kind of hair as you do..)
jammy12 answered Sunday March 19 2006, 5:26 pm: Well I duno if it's expensive...but what I do know is that it works relly great. You don't use alot...so I guess it'll last a long time with you. Use citre shine...doesn't matter if it's the normal anti frizz or the spray. I tried it on my hair...mine is already straight and it keeps the curls nice.
