Do I Have A Chance?
Hello my name is Rachel. I am 13. I met this guy named Bret recently. Hes amazing and exstremly hott. We've been talking and he told me he likes me. But theres a three years age diffrence you see hes 16. So I dont know if were gonna date. Hes past girlfriends have been models and exstremly pretty..Its not that i'm ugly but I cant compaire to them. He tells this girl Mellisa that he loves her so much they talk all the time but they are just friends. I guess maybe i'm getting jealous easy. But I dont know what to do cause I really like him but i'm not sure if i have a chance or anything. Help Please?

ohkay ... we think that you deffinately have a chance with this guy. you shouldnt compare yourself to other people. we have this friend, lets call her beth, and she has done nothing for a year but date older guys, and also she is your same age. and about him telling this girl that he loves her ... you can love someone without being in love with them ... if that makes sense. we tell our guy friends that we love them all the time.

Well if he has said that he likes you then I would guess you have a pretty good chance with him.
But be wary of it. For starters, although age shouldn't make a difference, while you are as young as you are, it does matter, because he will want an older relationship. He's legally able to have sex and will probably want to. For you it won't be legal for another 3 years. Will he want to wait that long or will he encourage you to have full sex?
Clealy he does have an interest in you but PLEASE think carefully about what you want from the relationship and where it might lead before you get into it.

Age doesnt matter. My grandparents are seven years apart and my parents are 3 years apart, and they've been together for a long time, no problems between the ages. If you really like him and he seems into you, then call him and go to the movies with him. Or go to eachothers houses! If you set your heart to it, anything can happen, especially if you believe in yourself. So go for it and everything will be perfect =]

Dont worry so much about this other girl Melissa. He is probably just really good friends with her. Everyone has a chance for anything and everything its just that you can't wait for it to come sometimes so just make your own chances. Try getting to know him more. Flirt with him and ask him to hang out sometimes. Dont compare yourself to his past girlfriends because that was then and this is now. Everyone gets jealous so its normal. You dont have to worry about the age difference. Make your own chances and take chances, dont let them pass by. Hope this helps!

Nah, girl, everyone gets jealous when someone they like is talking to someone else. Maybe he liked Melissa before you, or something, and isn't completely over you. Here's what you do -- make him like you. Be more flirty towards him, ask him if he wants to see a movie, etc. When he's with you, his mind will be off Melissa.
