I'm 15, and I need a diet plan!I'm not asking for you to make me a diet plan or tell me what to eat, but I'm just wondering if the one I made will work for me.

I'm 15, 5'8, and I weight 170 pounds. I'm not very active, but I do own a treadmill. My new plan is that I will eat 1500 calories a day, and burn off 200-300 calories on the treadmill every day. I think I've worked out that I will lose 1-2 pounds a week. Is my calculation accurate? Will I actually lose weight (the food I'm eating is healthy, mostly fruits and some meat... just good food)? And, is this healthy/okay for me to be doing? If this isn't going to work, what do you think I could change? Thank you SO much in advance!

Just a note to add to the other person's advice... don't eliminate sugar, because sugar is found in fruits and other healthy food. What you want to do is avoid refined carbohydrates, like the sugar you find in candy, etc.

Just make sure you eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Make sure it is all healthy, completely eliminate sugar from your diet. And eat in moderation. And of course work out.

By doing all of that you will deffinately lose some weight... so your plan sounds really good, and I just gave you some tips just in case..

 I hope everything works out!
