i need your advice on what to do when me and my freinds figh
Question Posted Saturday February 27 2010, 11:23 am
Ali, my freinds and i fight a lot about stupid things! for instance, me and my cuzin(who goes to my school) got into a huge fight about her being selfish and not letting me use her fake nail kit(i kno its totally stupid) how can i try to prevent these fights from happening?
~tired of fighting~
If she doesn't want to let you use her nail kit, let it go. If you want, remind her of this situation next time she wants to borrow something of yours. Don't be hostile about it, just tell her you don't like doing favors for people who don't return them. If she gets mad, keep a level head and let her cool off on her own. Next time I am sure she will be more willing to let you borrow something. [ Melody's advice column | Ask Melody A Question ]

But are you being selfish by sort of forcing your cousin to let you use her stuff. Don't you have anything you don't wnat anyone touching/using?
ANYWAYY!
For these fights, stop. Don't keep talking about it. Don't keep dragging it on! Sometimes you need to just step back and look where the persons comming from. Put yourself in their shoes.
Also, if you see a fight starting to break out between your friends or even you, just be like alright, whatever, this is stupid, can we just move on?
CHANGE THE SUBJECT. Get everyones mind off what is bugging everyone.
