birthday surprise!

Question Posted Monday March 13 2006, 7:31 pm

My boyfriends birthday is in a couple days and he made my birthday absolutely AMAZING beyond belief so i wanna try to make his special for him.. i'm not really sure what to do though.
(obviously get him presents & stuff, but i already got all that)

I had the idea of making a little scavenger hunt for him in the morning before he goes to work to find his presents but i'm not really sure how to work it out, or to hang signs or what they should say or anything.

His sisters said they'll help me put the stuff around the house the night before after he goes to bed so that wouldnt be an issue.

help please.. sooner the better. his birthday is in two days!

thanks.

First, Think of a place he will definately go first thing in the morning. For example, his toothbrush, the shower, his alarm clock. Put a post-it note on this place saying something like Goodmorning happy birthday! Then think of little clues to hide things in. Say, you write a clue telling him to go to his closet. In his closet place another post-it note telling him to go to the next present! Thats a cut idea! Good luck :-)

I think the scavenger hunt idea is PERFECT (especially since YOU came up with it!). Try things that are clues but also compliments. Things like: you are so sweet, you give me cavities! (HIDE THE NEXT CLUE BY HIS TOOTHBRUSH). Or: I feel so safe with you, I could just fall asleep (HIDE THE NEXT CLUE ON HIS PILLOW). Or you could just leave little love notes along his routine in the morning (bathroom mirror, coffee maker, cereal box, car door, etc.) I'm sure he will love anything that you do for him, because it comes from your heart and shows him you care! Hope all goes well,

-WBL

The scavenger hunt issss cute but it could be a bit of a hasel, for an easier yet cute real idea before he gets home from work decorate put his present on his bed and put ballons around it, then if he has a fan you can put confetti on it so when it turns on it'll go everywhere(not too much confetti lol) Or instead of confetti little messages or papers with X's and O's, hmmm you could even hide under his bed and pop up after he is all surprisede and give him biiiiiiig kiss.

SO IS MINE!! it's on the 15th haha =) anyways..

i think the whole scavanger hunt is really really cute & it'll keep him busy. try leaving post it notes on main things such as his shoes, maybe the shower, kitchen table, car window, etc etc. idk exactly what they should say but try thinking of little inside jokes you guys have. i think that'd be a good idea & he'd probably like it a lot.

-hope that helped!♥
