Everywhere you turn in modern religion, you find contradictions and such. The bible itself is full of things that don't quite work, but that is for you to judge for yourself.
If you like ths guy, go for it. Your parents can forbid you to see him, but they can't tell you who to love, and love will always find a way. If it's worth it, then you know what to do.

Alpha345 answered Saturday March 4 2006, 9:20 am: There is absolutely nothing in the bible to denote different-race relations.
The only kind of relationship God doesn't approve of in the bible is that of a "foreigner" but he used it to apply to the Israelites not marrying anyone non-jewish. Modern day this means try not to have a relationship with a different religion, because then you get influences from that religion that you will end up mixing with you own.
So in conclusion, NOWHERE in the bible does it say you can't have a relationship with someone of the of a different race or color.
I hope this helps and your parents get outside their racial boundries, because the whole boundy thing, is pointless.
