Question Posted Thursday March 2 2006, 7:10 pm

i didnt know what to put this under so oh well lol.
ok, i have acne, but its not bad. its mostly near my eyebrows and nose and stuff. but i can't find any makeup that works. i have the true blend pressed powder, and that doesnt seem to really work at all. my skin is always blotchy, and its really dry now because of the cold. i was wondering that there was any makeup that would work. i cant stand liquid foundation though, because it feels like im putting paint on my face. i hate it. any suggestions?
thanks<3

Please try Prescriptives liquid foundation, it feels like you don't have any makeup on at all. You need the moisture of a liquid foundation if you want to wear makeup and have dry skin. Also, I suggest using Lancome creme concealer that comes in a little pot to cover up especially red areas of your skin. It's expensive but it lasts for at least 6 months and it is worth every blessed cent.

I have a tiny bit of acne and I use any of Clinique's liquid foundation. If you have dry skin dont use powder. I have dry skin and what i do is use liquid ( but dont over do it ) then i brush a little bit of pressed ( or loose ) powder over areas where my acne isn't that badd. If you have oily skin, there is a face lotion by Biore that absorbs the oil. I used this cause my nose used to get really oily. hope i helped!

proactiv will get rid of most of your acne. i would try using that. then i would just go tanning so you dont need to wear any foundation/powder. tanning helps get rid of some acne (it drys it out) while foundation and powder only add more.

how do you not like liquid? just dont use too much.
powder looks chalky and cakey. but ok w/e.

powder is pretty much all the same! so get a concealer tht covers up blemishs. or one one of those cover up pencils. good brands are neutrogena
and clinique.

I agree with the other answer. I've used Clinique for as long as I can remember, and whenever I had acne, it made a huge difference. Although Clinique is expensive, its worth
the money. It works a lot better than most makeups.
