shakespear translation Can anybody analyze these Shakespear poems? :
So shall I live, supposing thou art true,
Like a deceived husband; so love's face
May still seem love to me, though altered new;
Thy looks with me, thy heart in other place:
For there can live no hatred in thine eye,
Therefore in that I cannot know thy change.
In many's looks, the false heart's history
Is writ in moods, and frowns, and wrinkles strange.
But heaven in thy creation did decree
That in thy face sweet love should ever dwell;
Whate'er thy thoughts, or thy heart's workings be,
Thy looks should nothing thence, but sweetness tell.
How like Eve's apple death doth thy beauty grow,
If thy virtue answer not thy show!
And this one as well:
They that have power to hurt, and will do none,
That do not do the thing they most do show,
Who, moving others, are themselves as stone,
Unmoved, cold, and to temptation slow;
They rightly do inherit heaven's graces,
And husband nature's riches from expense;
They are the lords and owners of their faces,
Others, but stewards of their excellence.
The summer's flower is to the summer sweet,
Though to itself, it only live and die,
But if that flower with base infection meet,
The basest weed outbraves his dignity:
For sweetest things turn sourest by their deeds;
Lilies that fester, smell far worse than weeds.

the first poem. She is deeply in love with a man who doesnt love her. She is saying that when you love someone that is the true meaning of living.
the second poem means that people who act like themselves is the person they are for example someone who is nice would be considered a nice person. If someone is mean they will be meanto others. The nice person has th epower to be mean but doesnt because it is not in their nature. People can change like a flower does in the summer and winter. In the summer it is nice and sweet but it can die and become the meanest and ugliest. We inherit our personalities form our parents. Whether you are rich or poor can determine how you would act. We change with every choice we make. ]
The first one is quite simple.....It means that she is in love with the person. And even though the other person hates her and she can see it...she still loves him....No matter what he does or how he acts...all she sees is the beauty....The apple is like her life....she would die if he would love her for just 1 minute in life...One minute of him loving her and she would give her life...i think atleast...I'm pretty sure like 80% not 100%
Hmmm...the second one sound funny...But i think it means basically...that one person is evil...and just not nice...but another is just so kind and sweet...and just to know that the evil one will go to heaven while the good one is really evil....Lilies that fester, smell far worse than weeds...I'm pretty sure that means that the lilies is the the good person...but they are hiding things and they get jealous...and even though the bad person is bad while the good person is good...the bad person is a better person....I'm pretty sure like 85%......I hope I helped!.....probably not though...I'm confusing =]] ]
