Commitment

Question Posted Sunday February 26 2006, 5:09 pm

I'm trying to go running or do some sorta of exercise for atleast 30 minutes a day. However, I'm TERRIBLE with commitment. How can I keep myself on track so my plan doesn't just become something I tried and Failed at.

-Listen to good music while you do it.
-Don't THINK about it. My mom says that if you start thinking about exercising you won't want to do it. You have to just DO it, the same way you would just eat or go to bed.
-Do it with somebody else.
-Remind yourself WHY you're doing it, and that you can only benefit from it.

Well you have to question WHY you want to exercise. For me it's because I want to lose weight and to tone up. This is my motivation - I too have problems with commitment and motivation but if you set yourself a goal it's a LOT easier to be able to stick to it. Any further advice you might need on this feel free to email me, and I hope I helped.

If you really, really want this, then you will just have to be determined and willing to do this. I mean if you go into this hating it and not wanting to do it, then yes you probably will fail at it, but if you go into it really wanting it and determined then really that is all that will help you..
Just stay Determined!!
Good Luck!
