I am looking for a gift for my girlfriend's birthday, and I have absolutely no idea what to get her. What sort of gifts do girls like? I guess that's my question. I just need a few ideas, here.

If you haven't been together for all that long, go with something small, yet cute. Like a stuffed (insert her favorite animal here), maybe some chocolate and flowers...or just flowers or just stuffed thing and chocolate. If you have already dropped the L word...oooo oooooo..send them to her at home/work/school. Girls eat up that shit. I know flowers are cliche, but girls like them. I have never gotten flowers, but maybe, someday...at my funeral...
If you send her flowers and or stuffed thing at work, then suprise her with dinner. If you can't cook, don't fret my friend. Order take out. Yes, I said take out. Most places have to go or call ahead pick up.(cheap and easy) plate it like you would a regular meal. So what if it is take out...I would think that is the most awesomest thing ever...but, I just ate a bag of croutons for breakfast...plus, you don't have to tell her it is take out. Brilliant!
If you are of age...which you might not be, and she has a favorite brand of wine/alcohol, get that. I say this because I have a favorite wine...most girls don't or it consists of something ameretto and sour. (If her favorite alcohol is Bud or a Bud product...refrain and stick with the stuffed thing. Don't buy her Bud Light for her birthday. You could always blame it on me..but I don't want to be responsible for that and will deny everything.) But, the wine/alcohol can be expensive.
