You'll soon get used to it and when that happens and your gums/lips are used to having all that metal there then you can keep on kissing.

You can kiss while having braces.If you want to kiss your boyfriend then do it,nothing bad will happen.But if your not ready to kiss him,then don't.You don't have to do something that you don't want to do.
