Also, try the humane society, or pound, or animal shelter. Try looking in your local newspaper classifieds, often there are kittens for sale or free. Look at your local library. Sometimes there are listings for things that are for sale, or animals being given away. Also, try local supermarkets. Many times there are ads there for things for sale and animals, too.
