limewire..HELP!!
everytime I try to install limewire onto my computer, it doesnt let me because it says theres a firewall block or something. I was wondering if this has ever happened to any of you, and what i could do to fix it and get limewire back onto my computer.

I just recently downloaded LimeWire, and I ran into this problem.
All I did was ask my step-dad to check out the program and remove the firewall.
I don't know if you own your own computer, but if you don't, ask the owner. I've never heard of any viruses coming from LimeWire, so it's safe.

P.S. Okay, I was just informed that LimeWire can give you viruses, but only with the stuff that you may download, not the software itself. My mistake, sorry.

if you can't find a firewall in the taskbar then it's probably window's firewall blocking it, try going to control panel - security center - firewall - exceptions - add program - limewire

that is a good thing you have firewal on your computer. but in order to download limewire you have to turn it off. how you do is it can be on your toll bar task thing. it is th box that has all the icons of everythin you have open on it. you need to find the firewall and turn it off. then you can download limewire.
