Hey i wanna lost 7 pounds. I weigh about 135-138 pounds. I work out and stuff but then I go and weigh myself a few days later or even a couple and i still haven't lost any weight. Its like impossible for me. Anything i do i cant lose weight. Im in sports but thats not helping i work out 4 times a week. But i stay the same weight. Is there any tips on how maybe i could get more motivated maybe to wanna do this cuz im about to give up because im not losing or gaining any weight!

angelique123 answered Saturday February 4 2006, 7:51 pm: You cant just exercise and expect to lose weight you have to set limits for yourself and eat healthy too. eat healthier meals and snacks and let your family know to that you dont want to be tempted by fast food, candy, ice cream etc. if your serious about this then cutting down junk food shouldnt be a problem [ angelique123's advice column | Ask angelique123 A Question ]
toosweet4u172 answered Saturday February 4 2006, 5:50 pm: you're not going to see results immeidately. it takes a couple of weeks, and if you exercise regulary, in a couple of months it'll all like shed off, as gross as it sounds. instead of having three meals, cut your meal in half, and save the rest for later, so you have 6 total meals. this increases your metabolism and that also helps you lose weight. if you do weights to lose weight, you might be staying the same weight, but losing fat and gaining muscle. just wait and it'll eventually start to peel off. haha good luck :) [ toosweet4u172's advice column | Ask toosweet4u172 A Question ]
MelSP answered Saturday February 4 2006, 3:40 pm: well i lost about 7 pounds in a week once! but that was because i got sick for about a week...but it was awesome! i came back to school and everyone was like omg you look soo thin! lol sorry but any way the only time ive ever lost weight was when i was sick and i bearly ate anything... so i suggest you go on a diet... not like a specific diet just dont eat junk or after when you eat dinner! Weight yourself before you workout so the next day you can see if any change has happened.) Anyways you may not be losing weight because you are not eating the right foods. Working out is great! But 75% is eating healthy foods, and if you eat sweets and junk food after you workout or even just throughout the day it will give you back the calories you burned from working out, so no change will happen. I recommend to just eat healthy, you don't need a diet to eat healthy. You also need to stop your self when your full. Because portion control is part of eating healthy. So eat foods you know are healthy and thats pretty easy, and eat them in portions which you think you can eat without going back for more..but not filling up your plate.
xOgLaM_cHiiCkxO answered Saturday February 4 2006, 12:53 pm: lOl you are having the same problem as my friend in school .. she went on a diet for about 2 weeks and didnt loose one pound .. and so she quit ... but i started going on a diet too lyk 3 or 4 days after her and then after a week when i weighed myself i lost 2 pounds !! i lost 2 pounds because i didnt eat as i did before when i wasnt on a diet .. and i ate much more less .. lyk for breakfast only a cereal bar or something and then at lunch i didnt eat anything only lyk soda and sometimes only half the bag of chips and thats how i lost 2 pounds .. but for my friend its not working .. i dont know why but it takes alot of time i mean you cant just go out for a week excerise alot and think that your gona loose pounds .. well thats not how it works lOlz aniwaiz if this dont help you then go on some websites that tell you how you should be on the REAL diet !! maybe that will help you sense the one your on right now doesnt .. well if you have any more questions feel free to send me an email or drop one in my inbox !!
