Friends Falling In Love.
So I like this guy named Joey. He is really sweet. And I love him to death.
Yesterday, he finally asked me out. And then I heard from my friend Therese that my other friend Mario [who was with me when Joey asked me out] likes me a lot, more than friends should like eachother. And now, Mario told me that Joey thinks that I made out with Mario [which I didn't]. And Mario is trying to do almost everything for me and Joey to break up since he likes me.
What should I do?

1. aww yay! new boyfriends are the most funnest! so congrats about that.
2. tell joey to cool it, that you like him, not mario. if he doesn't believe you, he isn't for you.
3. tell mario that his time, and perfect girl, will come sooner or later, but that you aren't it.
4. make sure you stay friends with both[all] of them.. because you could end up not liking the one you're with, and you want to see if you like the other one better.
5. finally, keep your options open, neither one may be the guy for you. don't rush into anything you might regret later.

I think you should go talk to this Mario guy and tell him that you`d like for him to stay out of your and Joey`s relationship.. Tell him if he wants you happy he`d do that for you.. Whether or not he admitts he likes you more then friends you should still tell him to leave you guys alone..
Maybe warn your boyfriend Joey whats going on a bit.. Don`t let him do anything to your friend tho..

You really can't do much about Mario if he isn't going to tell you himself that he likes you.
I think I would tell him he needs to stay out of your relationship with Joey. You need to tell Joey what you think might be going on so he doesn't listen to anything Mario may do to stir up trouble.
Then, should Mario confess to you his feelings, you will have a whole new set of problems! You will have to decide who you want to have as a boyfriend.
Until Mario tells you something though, don't just assume he likes you more than he does on the word of even your best friend. He needs to be man enough to tell you himself. :)
