I don't think that there is a certain age. I think it is more about your maturity level and your patience for kids.
If you know some people who have kids just tell them that you babysit and you would be more than happy to babysit for them sometime. You could also put posters up around your neighborhood. The posters should say that you babysit, name, age, charge, how to get in contact with you, and maybe a picture of a baby or something to make it eye catching.
