My mother has leukemia, and ALOT of other health issues. Her thyroid doctor ( i think ) told her to lose weight and just the other day her heart doctor said she needs to lose weight. Diabeties runs in our family, and i am looking out for her and my own health. She is not to motivated to lose weight, even though each day she says shes fat. She about 5'8" and around 200 pounds i'm guessing, and i'm 5'9 at around 180 lbs. We both need help losing weight, i exercise, she doesn't. Do you have any tips for me losing weight, mainly in the thighs and WAIST, and any tips for motivation for her.

TheLoveDoctor answered Monday January 30 2006, 9:52 pm: you should join a gym together. you can be each other's support team and both lose the weight. it helps when a loved one is sticking by your side fighting right along with you [ TheLoveDoctor's advice column | Ask TheLoveDoctor A Question ]
