how come i see most girls on myspace are chaning there myspaces to private then changing there age to 14, when they are like 16, 17, 18? why is everyone doing this?

its because they dont want people that arent their friends to be able to see their pages . they also cant see all their pictures, only the default one . its just a matter of privacy, hence the name "private."

Thats the only way to make your myspace private to a have a younger age, They may be getting annoyed with people who send them rude messages.

I know I had a problem with disgusting and sexually explicit messages left to me. It was getting to the point where I thought about making it friends only.
It might be possible that these people don't want that stuff in their inbox, I know I didn't appreciate it much, and make it so only their friends can talk to them.
It is illegal to send sexually explicit material to minors. That might also be a reason. But, I don't know if they would even think about that.
And, they could just be being stupid. That is probably the most likely of the answers.
