Boy Troubles.

Question Posted Wednesday January 25 2006, 7:18 pm

So I'm a 17 year old female, and I need to give you a little back story so you can better understand this. This past week and a half, this boy and I got close working on the school play together. He was really flirty and I was flirting back. Then on Saturday, I found out he went out with this girl the night before that he's been pining after for a while, and she told him that she likes him back. The flirting kind of ended for a day, and then it started back up a little by Sunday. I know that this is just a weekend, but I fell hard.
My question is, should I tell him that I like him, just to let him know, or should I let it go and let him be happy with this other girl?

Some guys don't think it means anything to flirt. To them, they are just joking around with a friend. But that is no reason to hold in your emotions. I think you should tell him. That way you atleast get it off your chest, and who knows? He might end up liking you more than this other girl. I wouldn't get my hopes up about that one, but I think it's best that you tell him.

your acting like hes in an actual relationship with this girl. he isnt yet. just because she told him she likes him dosnt mean you should give up. tell him and give him a choice but keep in mind you dont want to come on too strog so dont let him know that you know about this other girl.

If he likes you back than good, if not, at least you did. Be like "I don't want to ruin what you have with so and so, but I think you should I like you" Its straight forward and honest. He might secretly like you and the only reason he is with the girl in the first place is because he thinks you don't like him. Flirting doesn't always mean you like someone.
Hope this helps
Marta

I think that you should let him know. I mean seriously what does this girl have that you don't? "Don't ever let anyone make you feel like you don't seserve what you wat"-ten things i hate about you. But its true. I mean this guy could be the best thing that ever happend to you don't let some girl mess that up. You dont have to strait of tell him but hint because it's really easy to send that message without having to say "I like you." cuz thats just akward. Tell him how you think he's super nice and don't let him put himself down, he'll get the message. Good luc I really mean it!! you can send me a question if you want hope i helped.x3
