ipod nano's

i have a ipod nano and i was wondering if i put lyrics into my ipod, would it take up space?

yes.. and it depends on how long the lyrics are and what kind of file you are using.. they take up less space than songs.. i would say maybe a half to a third of how much space a song takes up.. i have a nano and i am very familiar with size and space of files on there but ive never added lyrics

Any data takes up space. How much depends on the length of the lyrics, though text doesn't take up much space compared to music. I don't know what file types an Ipod nano accepts, but we're probably talking Kb's rather than Mb's
