V8

Question Posted Friday January 20 2006, 12:56 am

This is really random, but what's V8 juice like? What's the texture and taste? What's it made of? Is a can of it a full serving of vegetables? I've never tasted V8 juice.

Well, yeah... its basically like vegetables in a beverage. Yeah, it may sound gross but it doesn't even taste like vegetables. Personally, I love it. It's not a refreshing drink though, it's more of a rich and thicker texture. If you want a refreshing v8, you can try V8 splash. But in my opinion, that doesnt taste as good as the regular v8.

tomatoe v8 is sort of thick but its not bad if you like tomatoes. v8 splash is like regular juice and its really good and it comes in all different fruity flavors!!! YAYY! and youre right it is really random.

According to the Wikipedia article on V8 ([Link](Mouse over link to see full location)), it contains the juices of tomatoes, beets, celery, carrots, lettuce, parsley, watercress, and spinach.

The V8 site ([Link](Mouse over link to see full location)) claims that a can of it contains a full serving of vegetable.

If I remember correctly, it tastes like tomato juice with carrot, and it's quite watery - there isn't much pulp in it. I'm not really sure because I tried it once before and I didn't really like it so I haven't had any for a long time.
