ok, i hadnt got my period and im 13 years old. I went to the docter and they said i wouldnt get it for a while,but ive been having pains in my side ALOT. I went to the hospital and they said that im probly getting my period. I do have pubic hair and i do have dischange and ive had this since like this time last year. My boobs have been getting bigger and everything. When do you think ill get my period?

My mom always told me to take the year you first started getting discharge and you'll get your period two years after that. Lets say you started in 6th grade...so you'd get it in 8th grade. In your question, you say that you started last year, so i'd say in another year. You can also determine from your hair (down there). If you have just wisps of hair, thats nothing. BUt, if you have like a carpet... then you'll get it soon. Your boobs have really nothing to do with it because when I go my period i wasn't even an A yet! Hope that helped. Oh and by the way, your period SUCKS so enjoy the years you have without worrying about it okay?!

It's hard to say when you'll get your period. No one can really be certain. The clues are all there; the discharge, pubic hair etc. But you'll probably get it around the age when your mother got hers. My mom got hers when she was almost 14 and I got mine when I was 13. So yeah, just don't worry about it. You should be GLADDDD you don't have it! Haha I hope I helped :)

Dont sweat it,your time will come.I got mine when i was your age.It seems you me you will be getting it soon because you have all the signs that mean your going to get it,so really all you can do right now is wait.About the pains,im not too sure about that because i never got pains before i got it the first time,but if your doctors say that stuff is going on with your body then i would trust the doctors on this one,they know what their talking about lol.

honestly every womans on her own internal clock,to get her period. you could get it today or next year. however, if you dont get it soon, and the pains in your side continue, see your doctor again, they may be caused by some other medical reason.
