hiii! me and this girl like just became good friends about a week ago i mean she is one of my best friends and she is awesome! she is also very gorgeous..and im very jealous of her..because everytime we like go on the computer or something about a million guys will all i/m her and be like hey beautiful and they all wanna hang out with her and stuff and i talk to like to guys!! i wish i did.but im so shy and she like only talks to guys. i mean when we go places all the guys only look at her..and they're always like oh my gosh you looked so hott..they say that to her and i just feel so low about myself when im around her!! because i know everyone thinks she is so pretty..but they dont tell me that and i know im not the best lookin ..and i cant just not be friends with her because of this..i mean i love being around her she just like lows my self-esteem down i dont know what to do!? she thinks she is ugly..i even told her i thought she was ssoo pretty..i mean i bet a guy tells her she is beautiful like everyday..i dont think ive ever heard someone say it to me? i just have no clue what to do..im lost..so can you please help me!?

Your friend seems kinda weird. I'm sure she knows that shes pretty -- but she just likes the attention from people. So, she's just saying that she's ugly so people will turn around and compliment her ALL THE TIME.
I agree, you shouldn't just stop being friends with her, just because some guys compliment her. Have you ever tried telling her how you feel? Like, maybe you should tell her that it makes you upset whenever she calls herself ugly -- because she isn't. Ask her why she's saying stuff like that.
I can guarantee that someone out there likes you, and you just don't know it. Everybody likes somebody, and I'm sure you have that certain somebody. Just because some guys tell this girl that she's beautiful, doesn't mean that they aren't thinking you are too!! Like, do these kids know you like they know her? Seeing as you and this chick just started hanging out, they might not. So they might not know how you'd react to compliments, or maybe if you have a certain somebody in your life, y'know?
Just take it slow, I'm sure that somewhere along the line, boys will call you beautiful. I mean, it's only been a week!! :) Things will get better eventually, I promise.
