My best friend has an apple and she has nop clue how to use most of its features because she sucks at accesing computer. all i can hear her say is 'i wish i got a pc'. maybe because pc's have easier programs idk. but it all depends, i am good with both kinds. but if your not then go for a pc just because they are more user friendly in my opinion.

There is a simple thing about Macs and PC's.

Apples are for creating.
PC's are for gaming.

Creating as in, real work. move editing, stuff you will show to other people. Macs are very powerful too, and require little upgrades. Apple laptops do look very nice though. But not always very light.

PC's can do so much more, but you have to upgrade the computer a lot to do that much more.

There is so much more you can do with PC's, but it depends on what you plan to do.

Hiya!

It entirely depends on what you want the laptop for.

There are loads out there at the minute so probably the best thing you can do is go into an electrical/computer store and have a look at what's on offer.

I can personally recommend the Sony VAIO (BX197XP - Pentium M 760 2.0GHz) as it is the one I got for christmas (thanks Santa!!!) and it does pretty much everything except go to work in the mornings for me!

Take Care

Mel
