ummm how many pounds does a gallon of milk weigh?

more than 8.because the oreck vaccume weighs 8pounds, and on the comercial they put a gallon of milk on one side of the weight thing and the oreck vaccume on the other side, and the milk side went down and the vaccume side was in the air, so the milk weighs more, and the oreck vaccume weight about 8lbs.
