Ok, where do i start... first of all there is no way to lose 30 pounds in that amount of time. If you even get close to that number it wont be fat you lost it would be muscle and water(thats what starvation style diets do to you). Please dont even try it, its utterly unhealthy and counter productive.
Secondly, and I wish I could post this somewhere- it is NOT possible to target fatloss from an area of the body. Most people on this site are under the illusion that they can... if they can they do not originate from this planet, because humans are unable to. When you lose weight, your body pulls off fat cells generally, and genetics determine if one area is neglected or emphasized a bit. Training an area heavily will build muscle there, thats all (this may tighten it up a bit, but focusing on the abs will not do much for weight loss).
Now, the best exercise for weight loss is doing weights. Only resistance training will boost your metabolism so you burn calories around the clock. Every pound of muscle you build requires some amount of calories to upkeep. Also it will tone your body like nothing else.
Obviously, if you can also do a cardio to go with it its even better (say 30 mins on the bike/ stairmaster a few times a week), but start with the weights. You will feel a change in your body within days.
In order to make this work, remember to eat many small meals in the day. This is crucial to get your metabolism up (one of the biggest problems dieters have is they slow down their metabolism by eating rarely- this just tells the body that there is a famine and it should try to store as much fat as possible). Try with 5 or so small meals. Also drink plenty of water and time the last meal so its a few hours before bedtime.
Good luck.
P.s. I see in the meantime someone has given a whole bunch of links to you which is great... Here is one more which is full of exercises to do at the gym (just click on the bodypart you are interested in):

For starters, 30-40 pounds in two weeks? Forget it. I'm sorry to say, but it's just not possible. That kind of weight loss will take you easily two months, probably 2 and a half to 3 if you'd like to be realistic.

I see you're talking about exercise, and that's great. Question is, are you also following a proper diet? Diet and exercise go hand-in-hand, so to maintain a healthy weight, exercise and diet are both required; so keep that in mind.

That being said, you can find lists of healthy foods at:

And really (as you probably already know), it's best to eat several small portions a day; but this does not mean to "starve" yourself. Say, have an apple and a piece of cheese, two hours later have a few crakers, and an hour later have one piece of wheat toast, and so on and so forth, ya know??? And those are just some snack ideas. When it comes to solid meals, you don't really have to cut out much. Just take in moderation. Little intakes of food like that gives your body time to digest it properly. You see how that's better than eating one or two huge meals a day?? Because then it would take too long to catch up, and your body will not be able to burn the calories quickly enough; so it just quits, adding body fat.

Sure it seems like you're giving up so much, but think about what you will be gaining if you feel better about yourself! That's the best damned grand prize you'll ever find! (=

And as far as an exercise routine goes, a few good activities that can simply assist in porportioning the body in it's entirety would be anything that gets the blood circulation goin', such as: jogging, jumping jacks, jumping rope, walking, and bicycle riding. Another thing, if you have access to a heated pool, water aerobics work like a charm!!

Also, I've never done yoga or pilates, personally, but people swear by them. So, I think that's worth a shot. If you're interested in that, check out:

To tone your triceps (I do this one and it performs miracles, by the way!):

If you'd like to target your stomach specifically, crunches would assist in that. For directions on how to do a proper crunch, check out:

And here is something I'm sure will spark your interest. This website has a list activities, and the numerical amount of calories they will burn:

The thing to remember is that maintaining a steady weight takes time and effort. You just have to stay committed, and strive to keep up the drive. It's all in the mind, it really is! (=
