shescreams33 answered Wednesday January 4 2006, 2:16 pm: I have read somewhere that lemon juice takes out dye because it lightens your hair. I would NOT use dye remmover that you use yourself, you might messup. At least if you go to a salon, although expensive, if they mess up you can refuse to pay or pay extra to make it look really great. good luck

If you do it by yourself with a dye remover, (which I don't recommend doing) it can cost anywhere from 6-12 dollars. I dyed my hair dark brown (or tried anyways, lol) and it turned out REALLY bad, so I used the dye remover, and it made my hair turn orange/green & bleach blonde every where else. It was REALLY ugly.
If you go to a professional, it can cost anywhere from $50 - $70 dollars. Depending on where abouts you get it done, and how much hair you have. [ naimee's advice column | Ask naimee A Question ]
