Question Posted Tuesday January 3 2006, 10:46 am

Ok my girlfriend who i have been dating for 3 months tells me she loves me all the time on the computer and when we talk on the phone. I can tell her I LOVE HER on the computer with ease, but when it comes to saying it on the phone i tense up and can't seem to say it to her unless she says it first I really want to tell her first. What is wrong with me? HELP

My advice to you is not worry about it as much. Girls actually like it better when you REALLY REALLY mean it when you say "I love you." - not just when you use it as a way of saying goodbye, or when you want something from them. If the time is right, you'll feel much more comfortable saying it.

The reason is probably because when you are on the computer, you're just looking at a screen. I have the same problem. I always say I love you on the computer with my bf...but then when we are at school, it's like I get tounge tied. The reason I found is, because I'm not looking at him when I'm on the computer so I can whateverI want, and then sometimes when you are on the comptuer it's easier to say stuff. It could be you just dont love this girl as much as you think you do. I love you is 2 special words, but you cant just say it in front of just ANYONE...it's fine, just try to mix it up a little maybe, try saying Luv Ya, or come up with some secret love thing only you 2 understand.

Good Luck!

Hey sweetie.. I completely understand what your sayin.. I was like that for a little while with my boyfriend.. I would say it real quick gettin off the phone.. Or i wouldn`t say it at all if he said it in the middle of our conversation.. But sweetie there def. isn`t anything wrong with you.. You haven`t been in this relationship very long and it`ll get easier the longer your together [trust me i know from experience].. Just don`t get to the point where you won`t say it at all or she`ll think you don`t like her.. ♥ Dez

its completely understandable. just give it some time.. also you can try saying it to youself or writing it down to try and make yourself more comfortable with the concept, just make sure no one else is around to catch you in the act!
you know you love me,

Thats very normal. Its much easier to say things online then on the phone or in person. You probably do love her, but your just not ready to tell her.Dont worry, that time will come soon. Hope I helped!
