I am not qualified to answer this question (not by a long shot). Vitamins could have something to do with it, but dryness could be caused by any number of things. I know that on the skin in general, soap, shampoos etc can cause dryness and irritation. Do you use any products (anything from nail polish to... whatever) that could be the cause?
Either way, I doubt its anything very serious but do get it checked. Oh, and take any advice you get from this site (including mine) with a grain of salt when it comes to medical issues.
