i just got a new ipod
i just got the new 30 GB video ipod and i have no idea what i'm doing i've installed the software and it automatically downloaded my itunes songs onto my ipod but how do i delete uwanted songs?
and if you could give me more helpful hints on where to get videos and music or anything else that would be sooo great thank you!!!

Go to Edit > Preferences > iPod (you need to connect the iPod to change this) > Music (this should be the active tab by default under iPod) > check the box next to "Update checked songs only"
In your library, there should be a checkbox next to the name of each song. Uncheck the ones you don't want on your iPod and update your iPod again.

I can't do anything about videos and more music you don't already have, but I can tell you that your itunes uploads everything on it to your ipod. So, if you have music that you don't want on your ipod, delete it off your itunes and then update your ipod. However, I don't think there's a way to upload just the stuff off itunes you want.
