Tattoo!

Question Posted Thursday December 22 2005, 9:03 pm

Hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone on here has gotten a tattoo around their bellybutton before. I really really want to get one there, but my older sis is telling me I have to be able to make my stomach tight or something like that? Is that true? Or does she not know what shes talking about? If anyone has it done, please let me know how much it hurt and if my sister's comment is even true or not. By the way, I already have one tattoo. It's on my lower back. I'm very good with pain. Thank you so much. If anyone has pics of nice tattoos for around your bellybutton, you can show them if you want. <3

My friend had it done && she said it wasn't painful, but just remember when you're older or when you decide to have kids it'll stretch out...

PS: You're sister doesn't know what she's talking about.. =)

My cousin has it done. No, you don't have to have your stomach tight or whatever the hell she is talking about. Be warned that if you are a chick, if you decide to have kids in the future, the tattoo will stretch and look like a big blob of nothing after the baby is born. And she told me it didn't hurt her. She can handle pain too. She told me the first few minutes hurt but then after she was numb to it and it started to tickle.

okay, i don't want to offend you, but tattoos, when you get older, they get all wrinkly and messed up. I can understand an ankle, a back, or even a shoulder tatto, but in MY opinion, a belly tattoo will get all flabby later.....

it doesn't hurt much and your sister means if your stomach is flabby the tattoo won't look to great . it will look streched and old out but if you have a tight stomach it wont.
